When my church was having an event of fund raising, get-together cell groups and church community, each of the participant or guest was given a uniformed unisex slogan tee. In the spirit of unity, putting on the shirt was a form of tolerance and bond. So, my obligation as a fashion person was how to still wear the T-shirt, but in style. Challenge accepted !
Making everything work is one of the fashion essence, so I AM making this T-shirt worked with this.
Red uniform T-shirt on paired with plaid ruffly midi pencil skirt in black and white, the colours that usually fit and go with every other colours in the universe from TOPSHOP. Black socks peeking from my black lacy BERSHKA military boots with chunky heels. A little touch of fun with my red and green pom pom dangly earrings from Bangkok, Thailand local weekend market and a piece of VALENTINO rock stud black shoulder slash sling bag. Coffee in hand, thank you Starbucks, I’m ready to go and stand out from the crowd – even with the same T-shirts !
People will choose jeans over everything with T-shirts like this, but when we can play and dress up a little, let’s not make it boring, shall we ?
No changing needed, I can still hang out with friends and spread the good cause and good words with the T-shirt. Right ?
Enjoy and hope this one’s a little bit inspirational ! YASSSS !
